Roasted Beanery is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task.
What we've done
- Semantic headings and a clear, consistent page structure, with landmarks for the header, main content, and footer
- A "Skip to main content" link as the first stop on every page
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator on interactive elements
- Text and button colors that meet the Level AA contrast ratio
- Labels on all form fields, and decorative images marked so screen readers skip them
- Form errors and confirmations announced to screen readers
- A responsive layout that adapts to zoom and any screen size
- Plain-language content and descriptive links
Areas we're still improving
In September 2026 we darkened our accent color so text and buttons meet the Level AA contrast ratio, and gave every page clear landmarks and a skip link. We're still reviewing the rest of the site, including the focus outline on a few controls and text descriptions for some photos, and we fix what we find.
